Through operating responsibly and being committed to reducing the carbon emissions from our buildings, our vehicle fleet and our offices to net zero as soon as practicably possible, we aim to deliver positive outcomes for our tenants, our employees, our communities, and the environment.

We take a forward-looking approach and are continually developing and pursuing new initiatives to make our business more sustainable.
The firm's key objectives include:
- Progressing to net-zero carbon, and conducting an annual carbon footprint calculation.
- Transitioning to renewable energy in all our buildings, including eventually all our rental properties.
- Improving the energy efficiency in all our properties, and raising their EPC ratings by 2028
- Upgrading our recycling status from silver to gold.
- Investing into air (direct air capture), land (planting trees) and/or water projects (mangrove forests).

Targets
From assessing Residential Land’s key impact areas, we have identified SMART sustainability objectives. These are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-bound.
Our targets include:
- 100% renewable energy across the portfolio
- Net-Zero carbon
- Increased recycling and responsible waste management
- Improved energy performance of our buildings
Environmental Certification
We understand how difficult it is to find harmony between the language of business and environmentalists, so we will ensure to provide environmental certifications to support our journey. So far, these include the Carbon Footprint Assessed status, and contribution to the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark survey.
